Purpose of the blog:
To bring hunters together to share experiences. Also I will use this to keep you all up to date on news for game preserve. It is difficult for people to get involved in hunting when there is no one to show them the way. I hope we can share information and people can ask question for the game preserve and hunting. Very often people get into hunting as they have a family member has mentored them. I hope this will serve as an information source for those who do not have a mentor.

Dog Boarding
Stonewall Boarding is a state of the art dog boarding facility on 106 acres in upstate NY. Planned & built by a breeder & trainer with 30 plus years experience. WE ARE THE BEST. We offer a shooting preserve. Dog training on grounds specially groomed for retriever training.
Game Preserve
This farm has been groomed for a game preserve and dog training. I have attended game breeders conferences to learn more about managing a game preserve.
My passion has always been competing with Labs in Retriever Field Trials. I love all sporting breed dogs, love to watch them work. The best part of the hunt is to watch the dogs. With this in mind I encourage you to bring your and hunt with YOUR own dog. I hope to build the clientele who not only like to hunt but even more then shooting birds is watching their dogs hunt and comes back in the summer to keep their dogs in shape for quick tune ups
In the off season
Once hunting season is over, I will continue to have birds on hand. I am often asked, what makes a good hunting dog? This is by hunters just getting started with a dog. This is a very simple answer BIRDS, BIRDS and more BIRDS. There are so many people who do not have access to the two key things for training dogs, the birds and the land to train on. Many have asked me about training theirs dog I have decided to offer a type of guide service. You bring the dog out and I will assist you in setting out birds have all the equipment necessary to train your dog. For those new to training a dog, and do not have help this gives you a chance to work with your dog like a professional trainer. I will also shoot for you so that you can concentrate on your dog and offer advice. You will be amazed after 3 or 4 times the change in your dog. After you have shoot about 30 to 40 birds over your dog they are really starting to understand the game. Remember it is BIRDS that makes a good dog, and I have the key ingredients the land, the birds, and the knowledge!
My Birds
My flight pens are over 14 feet high. There is 44 ton of sand & stone dust in the bottom to keep the birds health, dry and clean. The birds have a great deal of cover in the pen and I keep bulk feed and water in front them at all times, so they remand as wild as possible. My pheasants are some of the best flyer's you will ever hunt. I have taken a great deal of time and cost to construct the pens so the birds are as health as possible. They are feed a special diet and are very HEALTH and WILD birds.
